How we work together

Four ways in. One of them is your whole AI team.

Most companies start small — an assessment, an install, a single sprint — and grow into a standing partnership where we run AI for the whole business. Wherever you start, the destination is the same: AI becomes a capability you own, not a project that stalls.

01 · Start here · Paid diagnostic

AI Strategy Assessment

Know exactly where AI moves the needle — before you build anything.

Who it's for: Companies that want a defensible plan before committing budget.

A paid deep-dive into how your business actually runs. We research your operation, interview your leadership and team, and rank where AI would move revenue and margin most — and what to ignore. You leave with a written blueprint and a Loom walkthrough, yours to keep whether or not we build it.

What you get

  • Research into your business and industry before we ever talk
  • Interviews with you, leadership, and the team doing the work
  • A ranked opportunity audit — what would move the needle, and what wouldn't
  • A written blueprint with a realistic sequence and timeline
  • A personal Loom walkthrough you can forward to stakeholders

02 · Productized build

Dragonfly OS Install

An always-on AI agent, customized to your business.

Who it's for: Teams that want one integrated system instead of ten disconnected tools.

Dragonfly OS is an always-on AI agent built around how your business actually runs — it gives you real-time insight and takes action on command. Under the hood it's seven core modules (memory, captured comms, live metrics, a daily briefing, voice control, next actions, and version history) wired to your real data, plus the custom Skills and Tools your team uses every day. Installed in weeks. Yours forever.

What you get

  • Seven core modules wired to your data and tools
  • Two custom Skills built specifically for your operation
  • Custom Tools — portals, dashboards, internal apps — where you need them
  • Hands-on, voice-first training so your team is independent on day one

03 · Fixed scope

Automation Sprints

One custom agent for one job — scoped and shipped in weeks.

Who it's for: Teams with a clear backlog item that just needs to get done.

Most sprints ship one custom agent for one job — a marketing agent, an admin agent, a company knowledge base. Others ship the automation or integration you already know you need. Either way, we scope it tightly and ship it fixed-scope: the fastest way to put your first AI employee to work, without an ongoing engagement.

What you get

  • A tightly scoped statement of work with a fixed timeline
  • One agent, automation, or integration built and shipped to production
  • Handover docs so your team can run it without us
  • A clear path to fold it into an ongoing partnership if it earns its keep

Embedded AI Department

The AI team you'd hire — strategy, builds, and a team that owns it.

Who it's for: Companies that need senior AI capability now but aren't ready to hire an AI org.

We become your company's AI team. A named AI lead sits at your strategy table, we keep a living roadmap reprioritized with leadership, ship a set cadence of automations and agents every month — and we run and maintain everything we build. The capability you'd hire for, at a fraction of the cost and ramp.

What you get

  • A named AI lead at your leadership table
  • A living roadmap, reprioritized with you every month
  • A set cadence of automations and agents shipped monthly
  • We run and maintain everything we ship — not a one-off project that rots
  • Tooling, model, and vendor decisions made for you
  • Team enablement so your people level up alongside the systems
How the team works

The path most companies take

Start with a project. Keep us as your team.

01

Prove it

An assessment, an install, or a single sprint. One concrete win that shows what AI can do in your specific operation.

02

Build the foundation

We wire up the systems your business runs on and ship the first automations — the groundwork everything else compounds on.

03

Run it forever

We stay on as your embedded AI department — setting strategy, shipping monthly, and running everything we build.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI Strategy Assessment?

A paid diagnostic of where AI would actually move the needle in your business. We research your operation and industry, interview leadership and the team doing the work, and deliver a ranked opportunity audit with a written blueprint and a Loom walkthrough — yours to keep whether or not we build it.

How long does AI implementation take?

It depends on scope. An Automation Sprint — one agent, automation, or integration — typically ships in a few weeks. A Dragonfly OS Install runs about 4–6 weeks, and larger multi-workflow builds can take up to 12. Most clients see measurable results within the first month.

Do I need technical knowledge to work with you?

No. We handle all of the technical setup and we train your team to operate what we build. We work with business owners who know their operations inside out but don't have technical teams — you don't need to understand AI to use it, you just need the right setup.

What types of businesses does Dragonfly AI work with?

Founder-led businesses, funded startups, and growing mid-market teams that need senior AI capability but aren't ready to build an in-house AI org. Common industries include real estate, legal, financial services, marketing agencies, home services, insurance, staffing, construction, and consulting.

How is an Embedded AI Department different from hiring a consultant?

A consultant hands you a report or a one-off build and leaves. As your embedded AI department, we put a named AI lead at your strategy table, keep a living roadmap, ship automations and agents on a monthly cadence — and we run and maintain everything we build.

How much does it cost to work with Dragonfly AI?

There are four ways to work together: an AI Strategy Assessment, a one-time Dragonfly OS Install, fixed-scope Automation Sprints, and an ongoing Embedded AI Department. Specific pricing depends on scope and is shared on a free 20-minute strategy call.

Not sure which one you need?

That's what the strategy call is for. We'll figure out together where AI moves the needle for you — and which way of working together makes sense as the first step.
